Clinical Pastoral Education in Denver
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at St. Anthony Central Hospital is an innovative and transformative model for spiritual care education that draws students from all over the United States and the world. Through clinical reflection on patient care, group peer consultation and individual supervision, students learn the art of mediating compassion for patients and loved ones in the here-and-now moments of crisis, transition and loss. Chaplain residents and interns are an integrated part of the spiritual care team and often take on leadership roles in the department. The CPE program at St. Anthony Central Hospital is open to religious leaders, health care professionals, physicians and lay persons. CPE at St. Anthony Central belongs to a larger statewide Centura Health CPE systems center. Learn more about the CPE program with the links to the left or contact us at
