Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac CareSt. Anthony's Central Hospital, along with Penrose-St. Francis and Porter Adventist Hospital, has been named a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. The three Centura hospitals were the only ones in Colorado given the quality designation, signifying they met the program requirements including services, staffing, the number of procedures performed, the use of certain medications, and offering a full range of cardiac services. Across the country, just over 400 hospitals have received the designation. Blue Distinction Centers for Cardiac Care demonstrate their commitment to quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for cardiac patients.
