Patient Success Stories
Corinne Lively - Neurosurgeons use 3-D StealthStation to operate on benign meningioma

Corinne Lively was sorting mat samples in her Grand Lake gallery when her knowledge of numbers vanished. Granby emergency personnel, suspecting a transient ischemic attack (TIA), ordered a carotid artery ultrasound and MRI. The latter revealed the cause of her focal seizure: a benign meningioma immediately adjacent to the superior sagittal sinus venus channel. Neuro-surgeons at St. Anthony  state-of-the-art StealthStation® to produce a 3D pre-operative map of Lively’s brain from MRI images. The computer-guided system was employed again for real-time guidance during surgery. A second, smaller tumor discovered in the falx separating the brain’s hemispheres is slated for removal by gamma knife.
